I’m keeping my nascent complacency in check
I‘ll not acquiesce...‘cause I ain’t done yet
Approval and endorsements have never enticed
Sometimes my nose…has been sacrificed

I’m a walking broadcast of my infirmities
Declining, degrading, decrepit debilities
Not soft on nostalgia, neuralgia like Tesla coil bites
I am Miss The Anthropic, in the geist outzeit

I am firmly ensconced outzeit the geist
And I’ve aged out of relevance
My patience is well past the breaking point
And I’m sick of all the sycophants

I’ve retained a restraining order….against myself
I’m in the depression department, on the loony bin shelf
Obsessive, compulsive, disorderly, ready to fight
I’m stuck in the muck…in the geist outzeit

The more or less genetically blessed
remain oblivious to all they possess
The curse of misfortune and distress
escapes their vernacular and ingress
I never cared before and now I care less
Distill what you will, what you won’t you’ll suppress
It’s time that you swallow a bitter pill
You don’t have to like it, but you must distill
It doesn’t get better, never has, never will
So dump that in your void, that void you must fill
